Job Summary: The DTG Printer Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining our DTG printing equipment to produce high-quality products. This role requires technical skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for creating custom designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate DTG printing machines and software.
- Prepare and load various materials onto printer.
- Ensure accurate color matching and print quality.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the printing process.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure designs are printed accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of printing supplies.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality control standards.
- Perform other general duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating DTG printing equipment and software is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of garment printing techniques and color management.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Artistic, creative, and an eye for design.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Problem-solving skills to identify and correct issues that may arise during the printing process.
- Strong computer skills and understanding of precise measurements.
- Ability to handle potentially heavy equipment or materials.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Creative and able to suggest improvements to the printing process.
